My new Tu-Tu

Look what Daddy got me for my birthday. Aren't I cute? He had it made just for me by local lady. She did a fabulous job. My mommy has her # if you need it.
If you don't have a tutu, you should get one. They just make you feel pretty!

I'm two

Hey everybody guess what? I am TWO! Here is how I spent that special day (my party was the next day). Happy Birthday to me!
Mommy & Daddy took me to the Everett Children's Museum first.

Wheee!

Then we went to a "Rock Concert". We saw the Recess Monkeys. They were very good. I think I'm a fan! Their music was very catchy; I think I even saw Mommy & Daddy tapping their toes.

I clapped my hands to the beat.

Loving my Daddy!

You can kinda see the band in the background. Here's where I got wild... I took Daddy's hat and went to the dance floor and cut a rug with the other "rockers" (aka toddlers).
So if you are in need of some new tunes, check them out. You'll like them.

Merrysville Lighting

Get it? Merrysville for Marysville (the city I live in). Clever huh? Anyway, they do a little shin-dig in early December and Mommy & Daddy thought we'd check it out. Mommy now says that you can't even compare it to Leavenworth's Christmas Lightening. But we still had a fun time.

Hot Chocolate in a sippy-cup. Yummy!
I am hiding from that scary Grinch guy. Can you see me?

Love,
MaryAnna Mae

My Third Year Seeing Santa

Okay, here is the fun story about my visit with Santa. We did not waste anytime. Mommy has his number programmed in her phone and we had an appointment with him scheduled for two days after Thanksgiving. When I saw that guy in the lobby, we chit-chatted a bit, but really I was not that interested. But then we went into the picture part...Mommy and Santa were saying crazing things in order to get me to sit on his lap like, "MaryAnna Santa has fuzzy pants go feel them" and "I'll give you candy if you sit on my lap". But I am smart and did not fall for any of it (and yes, I still got the candy).
Here he is trying to pick me up.

But I was not having it, so Mommy picked me up. Notice the cute book Santa is holding. I brought it to show him.

I finally agreed to sit on the horse in front of Santa if only Mommy and Daddy join me. I made sure it was Daddy's hands holding me.

Mommy slipped away, but Daddy's not going anywhere. Hey, I did not realize that Daddy and Santa had started to trick me by changing hands.

Wait a minute... if Mommy and Daddy are both standing over there then who is holding me?

Aaahhh! Let me down! I am out of here! And we were. Mommy does get an A for effort. She says it was so much easier when I was only 5 days old for my first Santa picture.
It's almost time for me to be 2. Mommy says I'm already acting the part!
