Valentine's Day Dash

Mommy and Daddy ran their first 5k. I went along for the ride. Here I am eating my morning snack. I will need the energy for the run!
Here we are before we got lined up. Mommy made sure I had toys and snacks to keep me entertained. That was a good thing because I had so much fun dropping them along the way so the nice gentleman who was behind us would have to catch up to us to return them. Wasn't that nice of me? I'm sure I helped him to get a better time.
Daddy did leave us in the dust, but Mommy wants me to make very clear that Daddy only beat us by 57 seconds and she was pushing me and the stroller (an extra 35lbs). So clearly, Daddy should have stayed with us because we paced ourselves. And I helped her go faster by yelling, "I get out, I poopy" really loud so everyone was staring at us for the last 1/2 mile. Again, I'm only trying to help (of course I was not really poopy).
Mommy's doing another one on Mother's day morning, I think this time Daddy and I are going to just greet her at the finish line.
Happy Running!

MaryAnna Mae

Date with Daddy - Father Daughter Dance

Me and Daddy went to the Father Daughter Dance on Feb. 6, 2010" Is my date here? I am almost ready."
My date brought me a rose. It was beautiful.

I love flowers!

We double dated with my friend Grace and her daddy Mark. Our moms went and got pedicures. So it was a fun night for everyone.

Here's the picture from the dance. Afterward, we went for ice cream.
I hope you had a great date for Valentine's Day. I know I did.
Love,
MaryAnna Mae

My First Time Getting My Nails Painted

I had a big date with Daddy so Mommy thought it was the perfect occasion to paint my nails for the first time. Of course I chose pink. My little hand in Mommy's big hand.

Mommy did a good job even though she didn't think so.
Look at my lips, I was blowing on them to dry them quicker.
But Mommy did buy the 50 second quick dry nail polish.
She knew 50 seconds was not quick enough for me.
Checking out my pink fingers!

Giddy with delight!
May your nails always be painted a color that makes you happy!
Love,
MaryAnna Mae
