Places I've Been and Things I've done

When I was catching you up on all I've done, I forgot to mention all couple of things that I think are pretty special. I think I'll be posting on my blog more often than I thought. I just have so much to share. I'm a jabber box like my mommy already.

I have been to two Caucuses and one Democratic Convention. My mommy was a delegate this year, so they made me an honoree delegate too. They said I was the youngest delegate there. It was pretty neat. I met Senator Steve Hobbs, Rep. Aaron Reardon, and heard Governor Gregoire speak. Mommy said that some people haven't been as politically involved in their whole lives as I have been in my few short months.
I also went to my first gymnastics birthday party. It was very fun. Daddy did lots of neat rolls and flips with me. Don't worry I was the one doing the flipping and rolling, not Daddy. For some reason, Mommy wouldn't let Daddy play on any of the equipment, but you could see the twinkle in his eye that he really wanted to. I also got to see my first dance recital. It was so neat. I really liked watching the dancers. I haven't figured out how to clap yet, so when everyone was clapping I just flapped my arms up and down. It works for now.

And I went to my first high school graduation. Mommy's first class of fifth graders graduated from high school this year and she took me with her. She cried because she was so proud of them. It was very special and I was a very good girl, if I do say so myself.

But the biggest news is that I'm a swimmer. I have swim lessons every Monday and Wednesday with my Daddy. That guy's a fish! I can't wait until I'm as good as him. He's gonna teach me everything he knows. Yippee!
Love,
MaryAnna
