Cookie Decorating is so much fun. Seven of my friends were able to make it in very "Treacherous Conditions" (quote from Jim Forman our fearless news reporter). Even though it was cold and snowy outside, it was warm and cozy at my party.
Mommy learned (about 2 seconds into it) that Daddy had NEVER decorated cookies before in his whole life (she had a little chat with Grandma Diana about that). So he wasn't much help in teaching me how, so we got to learn together. By the third cookie we had shown great improvement. I think Santa will like them (but not the first one - no one would eat that yucky mess).
I'm ready for the story.
Mommy's friend, Jamie, read to all my friends and me, 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. It was fun, and for the most part we were very good listeners.
A cupcake for me!
We collected 15 toys for children in need. We took them to the food bank the next day ("in Treacherous Conditions," said Jim Forman) and they gave them to the people who came to get the food for Christmas and needed a toy for a little one. Yeah!
