Jewel Concert

Mommy & Daddy took me to see Jewel at a "Zoo Tunes" concert at Woodland Park Zoo. Mommy & Daddy saw Jewel about 8 years ago at Bumbershoot and had a great time. They credit that concert to when they first knew that they loved each other. Awe! Since I now love the Jewel lullaby CD they thought I'd enjoy hearing her live too. Here I am trying to scope out where we should set up. I want the perfect spot.
Mommy had lots of "tricks" up her sleeve to keep me entertained during all the down time. Like this new book about the zoo, tokens to ride the carousel, a picnic dinner, cookies & milk, and my animal coloring book & crayons. I wore my guitar pants since I was at a concert.

Some of the songs just made me want to snuggle (and it was an hour past my bedtime).

Here she is. She's so talented!
Yes, of course Mommy made me wear animal PJ's. We are at the Zoo.

It was a great way to spend a summer evening. It wasn't very warm or sunny, but at least the rain held off.
Love,
MaryAnna Mae
