This year I was finally old enough to audition for The Storybook Nutcracker put on by Alderwood Dance Spectrum. I was very excited to be a Bon Bon for the first time!
The dress rehearsal at the auditorium was very long.
The night before the big performance I slept in curlers so my pigtails would have lots of ringlets.
Mother Ginger gave every Bon Bon this beautiful ornament.
While waiting for our turn we waited backstage and read books.
All the first graders were suppose to come to my performance, but since there was no power at school that morning they cancelled school. Can you believe it? But my nice teacher came to see the performance anyway.
And my music teacher came too.
And a couple friends from school.
Then I slept in curlers again for the next show. This time sissy wanted curlers too.
Mommy surprised me with a Bon Bon costume for Lula.
EllieLynn came to watch my final performance.
